The G&P 2019 conference is organized by IFIN-HH (National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering),  IMAR (Simion Stoilow Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy) and ICUB (The Research Institute of the University of Bucharest), in cooperation with SEENET-MTP (Southeastern European Network in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics), BPU (The Balkan Physics Union), CFM (Le Centre Francophone en Mathematiques, Bucharest) and GDRI ECO-Math(Le Groupement de Recherche International ECO-Math)

This is the first conference organized by the Geometry and Physics group  and it covers the following scientific areas:

– Geometry and Physics: mathematical aspects of string theory, supergravity, cosmology, topological field theory and string theories, geometric quantization.

– Connected subjects in differential, algebraic and complex geometry, algebraic topology, geometric analysis, analysis on manifolds and operator theory.

– Geometric aspects of non-linear and integrable systems.
