Institutul de Cercetare al Universității din București (ICUB) anunță modificarea pachetelor de informații pentru programele de Burse ICUB pentru tineri cercetători și pentru profesori invitați.
Burse pentru tineri cercetători
ICUB oferă în fiecare an un număr de burse postdoctorale pentru tineri cercetători. Aceste burse sunt acordate pentru o perioadă care poate varia între 3 și 12 luni tinerilor cercetători cu un parcurs academic excelent. Pe durata șederii lor în București, bursierii vor fi membri cu normă întreagă ai comunității academice a ICUB. Nu există un termen limită; candidaturile pot fi depuse pe parcursul întregului an universitar.

Burse pentru profesori invitați
În conformitate cu misiunea sa de a promova excelența în cercetare și de a încuraja colaborările internaționale, Institutul de Cercetare al Universității din București (ICUB) oferă anual un număr de burse de cercetare pentru profesori invitați, destinate cercetătorilor seniori cu un parcurs academic remarcabil. Scopul acestor burse este de a stimula colaborările științifice și de a încuraja dezvoltarea unor proiecte colaborative internaționale de înaltă calitate.
Candidații trebuie să fie cercetători seniori cu o experiență internațională notabilă în domeniul lor de studiu, dornici să desfășoare un proiect de cercetare sub egida ICUB. Proiectul poate include organizarea unui eveniment științific (conferințe, prezentări, colocvii, workshop-uri), scrierea unor cereri de finanțare (individuale sau colective), oferirea de expertiză, îndrumarea cercetătorilor postdoctorali sau cooperarea cu cercetători din Universitatea din București pe proiecte specifice.

În mod concret, pentru ambele programe s-a modificat numărul de sesiuni anuale, astfel încât din 2026 va exista un singur panel de selecție (noiembrie-decembrie). Totodată, s-au modificat condițiile de participare în cadrul programelor de burse, prin diversificarea activităților din timpul burselor.

The Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (ICUB) announces changes to the information packages for the ICUB Fellowships for Young Researchers and Visiting Professors programs.
Fellowship for Young Researchers
ICUB offers each year a number of postdoctoral fellowships for young researchers. These fellowships are awarded for a period which can vary from 3 to 12 months to young researchers with an excellent track-record. During the time of their stay in Bucharest, fellows will be full-time members of the academic community of ICUB. There is no deadline, the applications can be submitted throughout the entire academic year.

Fellowships for Visiting Professors
According to its mission of promoting excellence in research and encouraging international collaborations, the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest (ICUB) offers each year a number of research fellowships for visiting professors to senior researchers with an outstanding track-record. The purpose of these fellowships is to foster scientific collaborations and to encourage the development of high quality international collaborative projects.
The candidates must be senior researchers with a noteworthy international experience in their area of study, willing to conduct a research project under the auspices of the ICUB. The project can include organizing a scientific event (conferences, presentations, colloquiums, workshops), writing applications (individual or collaborative), providing expertise, guidance for postdoctoral scholars or cooperation with fellows from the University of Bucharest on particular projects.

Specifically, for both programs, the number of annual sessions has changed and, starting with 2026, there will be a single selection panel (November-December). At the same time, the participation conditions for the scholarship programs have been modified by diversifying the activities during the fellowships.
