Anca Meiroşu holds a BA at Faculty of Foreign Languages (Italian-Latin) (2008) – University of Bucharest, a MA in Romance Studies (2010) – University of Bucharest and a Phd in Latin Literature – University of Bucharest (2017). Between 2010-2012 she was a fellow of the Romanian Institute for Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice. She published cultural articles in Convorbiri literare, Steaua and she translated several works of Augustine from Latin into Romanian. Her book, Magia în literatura latină din epoca imperială timpurie (sec. I-II d. Hr.), received two prizes: one awarded by the Society for Classical Studies of Romania (2021) and one awarded by the National Museum of the Romanian Literature (2021). She teaches „Renaissance Philosophy” at Babeş-Bolyai University.

In her project, Voluntas and Potentia in Secretum (Petrarch), Anca Meiroşu analyzes the influence of philosophy and augustinian theology on the literary concepts of voluntas and potentia.
