ESHS in-between meeting
21-22 September 2023, Bucharest
The European Society for History of Science in-between meeting is organized this year in collaboration with the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest, Humanities Division. This meeting is a tradition of ESHS, bringing together members of the board and the organizers of next year’s conference and combining the discussion of ESHS matters with scientific presentations and reflections upon the profession. This year’s meeting is dedicated to a large, actual and pressing question: What is the place of the history of science in our contemporary society? How does HS stand among other disciplines for the production of knowledge? We have invited to our meeting scientists, philosophers and historians to reflect together on these questions.
