Organizers : Alina Tigău (University of Bucharest) and Klaus von Heusinger (University of Cologne).
Rationale and goals: This workshop represents a joint venture between the University of Bucharest and the University of Cologne and is one of the events unfolding within the framework of the research project Internal Arguments in Romance hosted by the University of Cologne since 2017 (http://idsl1.phil-fak.uni-
Some of the questions we would like to address would be the following:
- How are internal arguments hierarchically projected?
- How do they get their case assigned? Does case assignment depend on their DP/KP/NP type? Do the mechanisms of DOM or CD have a say in this respect?
- Is there a correlation between the syntax and the semantics of DP/KP/NP types?
The workshop will take place in the University building on 7-13 Pitar Moș Street, 010451, district no. 1, Bucharest
Attendance is free of charge and no registration is needed. However, for organizational reasons, if you plan to attend we would appreciate an e-mail to wkbucharest2019@gmail.com. For those wishing to participate to the conference dinner a fee of 50 Eur/200 RON will be required.
