ICUB Humanities is happy to announce that five UEFISCDI grants have been awarded to our fellows and affiliated researchers.
Three of our current fellows have been awarded UEFISCDI Postdoctoral Fellowships:
Andrei Mărășoiu – Understanding: phenomenal and epistemic aspects, to be carried out at the University of Bucharest
Mihai Ometiță – Faces of Cinematographic Modernism, to be carried out at the University of Bucharest
Radu Dipratu – Muslim-Christian Diplomacy Revisited: Ottoman Capitulations (‘ahdnames) Granted to France and England in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries, to be carried out at the Institute for South-East European Studies, Romanian Academy
Two UEFISCDI Young Independent Teams grants have been awarded to ICUB affiliated researchers:
Alexandra Ion – Landscapes of death. New interdisciplinary insights into the Mesolithic and Neolithic scattered human remains depositions from Southern Romania, to be carried out at the University of Bucharest
Mihnea Dobre – Making Modern Science: tracing the dynamics of a ‘Cartesian Newtonian textbook’ during the Scientific Revolution, to be carried out at the University of Bucharest
